Happy Mother’s Day or Mothering Sunday where we celebrate those in our lives who have nurtured us along the way. This morning broke bright and clear – a nice change from a week of clouds and rain. We celebrate the “new” trees transplanted in the front yard and they may survive without issue. We have been blessed to continue to foster the relationships that we have been building over the past couple years with newcomers, repeat visitors, and new members alike. A grand day.

Our worship and scripture was a picture painted by psalmist, Luke, Peter, and John that describes what makes believers special. They all spoke about the trust we have been given about God’s faithfulness through everything and how that impacts our lives right now. We head them all tell about the identity we have in Christ and what that means for us in the here-and-now. We also heard the promise about finding eternal life – follow the lead of Jesus and you’ll see how to get there. How are you challenged to nurture a relationship, either new or old, today?

I invite your comments,
