Vestry Election – Following worship on December 3 we will hold our Vestry election for the 2018-2020 term. David has agreed to run and serve if elected. If there is anyone else who might want to serve, please contact the Rector.

Pledges – Pledge cards and letters are available in the Narthex. Please pick your package up to help save a few dollars in postage.

“Job Jar” – The Vestry has moved to create a “Job Jar” that will be filled with simple tasks that will help do simple maintenance around the church grounds. The goal is to break down needed repairs to 30-60-minute tasks that anyone can do. The jar will be in the Parish House or Sanctuary, depending on the day. Stop by and help do some needed work at the Church.

Church Quiz – Over the coming weeks we will have a “Church Quiz” as part of our announcements and e-News. All are invited to think about and answer the week’s question. Answers will be provided the following week.
Last week’s question and answer: Question How is the typical Episcopal Eucharist divided liturgically? Answer: The liturgy is typically divided into two sections: the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Table.
This week’s question: What fixture in the sanctuary is usually the highest elevated ornament in the altar space? Look for the answer next week.

Formation Classes – This week we will discuss our New Testament reading, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, “The Coming of the Lord.” Next week we will discuss our New Testament reading, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, “The Coming of the Lord.” All are invited to join the conversation in the Parish Hall from 9:15 to 10:15 am.

Sunday’s Psalm – This Sunday we sing the portion of the Psalter together using a metrical version of the Psalter from A New Metrical Psalter by Christopher Webber as we sing Psalm 78:1-7 together. The Psalm will be set to Hymn 380, “From all that dwell below the skies” (Old Hundredth) from the Hymnal. The words and music will be found on a bulletin insert.

Hospitality hour Sign-up – The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board; please sign-up for an upcoming Sunday. If you would like to help but cannot provide all the items for coffee hour/lemonade on the lawn any assistance, even a single item, will be graciously accepted.
