Somehow it doesn’t feel like the end of January in Chuckatuck, it feels more like fall in the Pacific Northwest. But that did not prevent us from gathering in community this morning. Thankfully, we have missed a lot of the nasty ailments of the season – influenza and colds. But we still missed some of our community this morning and offer prayers for those who are under the weather or sacked by winter blahs.

Our worship was filled with stories that point to our call as believers and how we are supposed to act and share the impact of our mutual relationship with God, from God to us and our return to God. We are given authority to share our understanding of our relationship, what scripture has to say about our understanding, and our pledge to learn from others about their relationship with God. Thankfully, our relationship isn’t one of “our way or the highway” but growth through sharing and interaction – hearing the story of others. Who is the one who pushes you to know about God more deeply?
