Happy Easter! Alleluia! Christ is risen. The day dawned bright and sunny with the community sunrise service at the pond altar – with a full ensemble of geese, mocking birds, and other avian participants joining our community congregation in raising our voices to welcome Easter Day. We followed up that worship with a second joyous celebration and a happy and robust gathering. A blessed start of the Easter Season.
In worship we sang songs to welcome the resurrection and heard scripture read that affirmed that God acted, acts, and will act in our lives. This was affirmed in the Resurrection of Jesus and the intimate relationship between God and humanity. God allows humans to reach out and touch him so we can be assured of restoration to relationship if we trust that God knows our heart and truly loves us.
Happy Easter and I invite your comments,
