Inspire us with hope, hearts to love you and a desire to serve one another. Grant us grace to entrust you with the future of your Church and all things. We ask in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

Questions about the Episcopal Church and its Leadership – Over the coming weeks we will have a question about our Church and Leadership as part of our announcements and e-News. All are invited to think about and answer the week’s question. Answers will be provided the following week.
Last week’s question and answer: Question: What is the significance of the blue field in the upper left corner of the Episcopal shield? Answer: The blue field is the color traditionally associated with the Blessed Virgin Mary and is symbolic of Jesus’ human nature, which he received from his mother.
This week’s question: What is the significance of the nine small cross-crosslets that make up the St. Andrew’s cross on the Episcopal shield? Look for the answer next week.

Hospitality hour Sign-up – The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board; please sign-up for an upcoming Sunday. If you would like to help but cannot provide all the items for coffee hour/lemonade on the lawn any assistance, even a single item, will be graciously accepted.

Thought for the weekGenerosity: God is no ordinary gardener. God is reckless with generosity, sowing love everywhere, not limited by investing only for the best results. Radically open, loving even in the face of rejection and impossibility – this is God’s way.
