Alb: Full-length white vestment used in the worship service; Cassock: Full-length black “undergarment” worn under surplice or cotta; Surplice: White vestment worn over the cassock; Cotta: Short white vestment worn over cassock by acolytes and choir members.
This week’s question: What do the following terms mean: ambo, apse, baptistery, chancel, reredos? Look for the answer next week.

Thought for the weekFear: “Why are you afraid?” Jesus longs to be invited into your fear. If you’re afraid that you are going to lose your life, or lose some part of your life, you don’t need to be afraid. Why? Because we’re all going to lose the life that we now recognize. But Jesus assures us that in losing our lives we find them.
