Sunday’s Psalm – This Sunday we sing the portion of the Psalter together using a metrical version of the Psalter from A New Metrical Psalter by Christopher Webber as we sing Psalm 145:1-5, 17-21 together.

Questions about the Episcopal Church and its Leadership – Over the coming weeks we will have a question about our Church and Leadership as part of our announcements and e-News. All are invited to think about and answer the week’s question. Answers will be provided the following week.
Last week’s question and answer: Question: If the Lutheran church had a bumper sticker or motto, what do scholars say it would be? Answer. The Gospel of Grace. We are justified by God’s grace alone (sola gratia).
This week’s question: Where and when was the first Lutheran congregation established in North America? Look for the answer next week.

Hospitality hour Sign-up – The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board; please sign-up for an upcoming Sunday. If you would like to help but cannot provide all the items for coffee hour/lemonade on the lawn any assistance, even a single item, will be graciously accepted.

Thought for the weekCourage: Do not be afraid. Do not be held hostage by your fears of your own inadequacy, or of the possibility of failure or rejection or even physical harm. Fear God alone. If you don’t fulfill the mission God has assigned to you, who will?
