Questions about Our Protestant Heritage – Over the coming weeks we will have a question about our Protestant heritage and faith as part of our announcements and e-News. All are invited to think about and answer the week’s question. Answers will be provided the following week.

This week’s question: When did the Amish, Mennonite, and Brethren migrate from Europe to North America and from where did the depart? Look for the answer next week.

Hospitality hour Sign-up – The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board; please sign-up for an upcoming Sunday. If you would like to help but cannot provide all the items for coffee hour/lemonade on the lawn any assistance, even a single item, will be graciously accepted.

Upcoming Parish Events – Tuesdays: Boy Scouts (7:00 – 8:30 pm); Jan. 28 – Card Crafters; Feb. 1 – Bishop Consecration; Feb. 6 – Knitting Group; Feb. 8 – Rug Hookers.

Thought for the weekRemember: Of all the ways that Jesus Christ reveals himself in the world, the revelation of who we truly are in relation to ourselves, to God, and to all creation is perhaps the most profoundly transforming. This is an ongoing revelation, less like learning something new, and more like remembering something we’ve forgotten.
