Today was a day to celebrate our community and the relationships we have within our church, within our community, and with God. In worship we had an experience of the apocalypse in our readings: part of the salutation from John of Patmos in the Revelation to John and a summary of David’s life as the King of Israel. Today we hear about the importance of remembering how we are touched by God in our lives; how important it is that God is in us and we are in the world; and how much we have to give thanks for. Today we consider that we were created to be “priests” ones set aside to worship and serve God directly; and as such, we must respond by sharing our relationship with God with others. Part of our mission and our remembrance of the Reign of Christ in our lives.
I invite your comments,
