We realized, in a way, that the difficulty of conflicting grading standards isn’t a newfound condition. Paul began by “bragging” that he had everything then came to realize that all he had was worse than trash when compared to real life in Jesus. Sometimes we do forget the promise made by God in relationship with us, as related in the “10 Commandments” in Exodus. God identifies the source of all things for us: that all things begin and end with God as deliverer and guide. Our decisions should focus on that as the scale. How are you challenged to refocus on God’s grace when you make decisions?
