Blessings to you at the beginning of Lent. Our transition from the Epiphany season to our Lenten journey began in earnest yesterday with a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and we served 97 people; a fabulous community gathering.
Today in worship we began our Lenten journey in earnest. We heard the story of why we are called to reflect and repent. Our collect of the day reminds us that God hates nothing that God creates and God’s love leads us to a ministry of reconciliation. We are invited in our Lenten journey to begin now; to reconcile ourselves to God, to reconcile ourselves to others, and to reconcile all creation with God.
