In worship today we heard the story from the Prophet about God who will provide comfort in the midst of our battles. God is there with us and is strong enough to defeat our foes at the same time God is able to comfort the least in creation. We looked at how the good news we receive is based on what we hope for; and what we hope for is based on the promises made and received through Scripture. Part of our goal and work in Advent is centered on sharing our hopes and looking for God’s presence in the messengers sent to help us.

I invite your comments,
