Last week’s question and answer: Question: What is the Holy Eucharist? Answer: Because the Eucharist, the Church’s sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, is the way by which the sacrifice of Christ is made present, and in which he unites us to his one offering of himself. (BCP 859)
This week’s question: By what other names is this Holy Eucharist service known? Look for the answer next week.

Formation Classes – There will be no Sunday School class this week. The following week we will discuss our first reading, Acts 2:14a, 22-32, “Peter Addresses the Crowd.” All are invited to join the conversation in the Parish Hall from 9:15 to 10:15 am.

Sunday’s Psalm – This read the psalm during Lent.

Thought for the week – By his wounds we will live: Jesus knew that the only way to explode the myth of death and sacrifice was to undermine it by entering into it. To prove to us that we will live even when we seem to die. To defeat the myth from within by showing us that ultimately God has nothing to do with death or with our sacrifices.
