Our worship today centered on the Epiphany of Jesus as Son of God. We continue to hear the story, from John’s perspective, of Jesus’ baptism by John the Baptist and the onset of Jesus’ ministry and calling of his disciples. As he called the Disciples he asked them “what are you looking for?” Ironically, they responded by asking him where he was staying. Our life of faith is one where we are invited to ask the question “what am I looking for?” and also give ourselves permission to “stay and see” what God has for us to find. We are reminded that, without staying and seeing, we might not see the “thing” we are really looking for – a real relationship with God.

I invite your comments,
