We had one well behaved pet join us during worship, Dante Kirkpatrick. He sat calmly and actually dropped off for a bit, not during my sermon but later in the service. It is fun to have pets in worship and nice to reach out and offer prayers for the companions that make our lives just a little nicer. A fitting time celebration of the day and the life we live in Suffolk.

Paul continues to challenge us through the letter to the Philippians. We are told the good news, especially as Paul sees it, and the examples of God’s presence: love, compassion, community out of disunity, and sharing the burdens of life. But we also know that the good news is not sterile or something that exists solely in our mind; we know the blessings of God’s gospel by interacting with our community, sharing our understanding of God, and looking for God’s presence in the places where God might be missed. Where are you called to share the good news?

I invite your comments,<br
