Inspire us with hope, hearts to love you and a desire to serve one another. Grant us grace to entrust you with the future of your Church and all things. We ask in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

Questions about the Episcopal Church and its Leadership – Over the coming weeks we will have a question about our Church and Leadership as part of our announcements and e-News. All are invited to think about and answer the week’s question. Answers will be provided the following week.
Last week’s question and answer: Question What are the four streams of the Protestant tradition? Answer. Lutheran, Reformed, Anabaptist, and Anglican.
This week’s question: What are the seven main branches of the Protestant tradition in the 20th and 21st century? Look for the answer next week.

Hospitality hour Sign-up – The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board; please sign-up for an upcoming Sunday. If you would like to help but cannot provide all the items for coffee hour/lemonade on the lawn any assistance, even a single item, will be graciously accepted.

Upcoming Parish Events – Tuesdays: Boy Scouts (7:00 – 8:30 pm); Sep. 19 – Knitting group; Sep. 21 – Bishop election; Sep. 24 – Card Crafters.

Thought for the week – Observe: To become wise, we must learn to listen – first to God, and then to wise and good teachers. To become wise we must become students and observers of life, recognizing ways of living that lead to wholeness, seeing what works and what doesn’t. Experienced guides can help us along the way.
