Our lessons remind us of our intimate relationship with God and the cost of our relationship. We were reminded by Jeremiah that the true knowledge of God is within us and our mission is to let that knowledge surface. Yet, it’s not just knowing God that’s important – we are also charged to “upset the system” that runs counter to the innate relationship between creation and God the creator. Our challenge is to know and act, to help others know and act, and to help God’s message of reconciliation to permeate the world. Part of the objective our of Lenten journey and our ongoing journey as believers.
