Alleluia! Christ is Risen! Happy Easter to all from Chuckatuck. In worship, we celebrated with young and old. We heard the stories of Jesus’ resurrection, as told by Luke, and how the women went to the tomb and were surprised. But once they came to their mind they bore the gospel message – that Jesus was alive and that there was no need to look for the living among the dead. Paul reminded us that the resurrection was more than an end to be celebrated; but it was the beginning of a new and renewed relationship between God and creation. Without the resurrection there is no change and we are commissioned to share the live giving message of the resurrection. Christ is Risen! Alleluia!

I invite your comments,
