As we approach the end of the season after the Epiphany, we hear stories in worship about how God calls and reaffirms the calls placed on our lives. Sometimes God comes to us like the story of Isaiah – with great pomp and grandeur that takes our breath away. Sometimes God comes to us in the assurance that there is something “over there” that we’ve missed – fish in abundance that were missed all night. We are reminded that the story doesn’t change over time, just how we see and comprehend God working through us. God tells us again, not because we don’t hear but because we forget. God invites us to appreciate God in new ways, all the while looking for God in a different manner or form. How have you experienced God’s presence and call (recall) recently?

I invite your comments,
Les+
