source of dissonance in our lives. Jesus offered the Beatitudes: Blessed are… and a few items that don’t appear to be appealing in our conventional perspective. More difficult on some levels but more engaging on others is the lesson from Micah, which distills to: the good in life comes from doing (being) just, loving kindness (and mercy), and walking humbly with God. Our mission is to be doers of God’s justice and kindness not simply our own. What does the world look like if we do God’s justice and offer God’s kindness – the expansive relationship present with God in the midst of dissonance?

I invite your comments,
