In worship we considered what we think it means to be bathed in God’s light and sacrament. But not just to be bathed in, but to actively share God’s light and sacrament. Our scripture reminded us today that we need both space and independence to function in the way God calls us to function; but not at the expense of our community and our relationships with God and community. We are reminded that our completeness and the true measure of our faith is founded on being a reflector of God’s light so others (and us too) can see God’s active presence in the here and now.
