Through our worship and the practices observed this Epiphany season, we are reminded of the grace we have received and God’s providence. We hear about the act of an epiphany – becoming aware of the presence of something already present. The Psalmist reminds us of both the immenseness of God – the ability to make a nation skip like a calf – alongside the fact we have God resident in and around us. The prophet Isaiah helps us frame the conversation – what does it mean to be baptized into the body (and death) of Jesus? What our Epiphany journey helps us remember is God is personally connected with us, as long as we look to be connected to God.
