Blessings to you as we bring our Epiphany journey to a close. February winds down and the week ahead is filled with business: Shrove Tuesday (Mardi Gras) Pancake supper – sharing community; Ash Wednesday service at noon – marking the beginning of a holy Lent. Blessings were upon us this morning as we had a newcomer who found us through the Internet. Yay!
As we bring a close to our Epiphany journey we see one of the biggest Epiphany moments in the New Testament – the Transfiguration. The story is told through the eyes of Matthew and the writer of the second letter from Peter – both reiterating the message of God is found in the relationships we share. The way we share our relationship is through learning, knowing, and sharing our story as it relates our life with God. That’s the message of Epiphany: God is present in ways we may not recognize and our growth comes from understanding our relationship and sharing our story.
I invite your comments,
