Spring Work Day – We will hold our Spring Work Day in preparation for Easter on the April 1st (primary) or April 8th (secondary). The work day begins at 8:00 am and will go for 3 hours, ending promptly at 11:00 am.
The weather is forecast to be favorable this weekend, although the ground may be wet. There are many projects including: cleaning out flower beds, spreading weed killer, trimming bushes and trees, washing windows, cleaning doors and woodwork on the Parish House and Sanctuary. Please feel free to bring rakes, shovels, saws, wheel barrows, buckets, and sponges.

Easter Lily Order – Please see the order form for Easter lilies that is included in today’s order of worship. Orders should be returned no later than Palm Sunday. Sorry for the late notification.

Palm Sunday – If the weather is cooperative we will observe our tradition for processing across the church yard for Palm Sunday on April 9. Please be prepared.

Lenten Study and Soup Lunch – This year we will focus on the last portion of our Ash Wednesday gospel reading “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” We will explore finding our treasure and taking care of the treasure for the long haul. These lunches will continue Apr. 5, from 11:30 am-1:00 pm, in the Parish Hall. All luncheons are being hosted.

Save the Date – We will have a special Eucharist celebration in honor of our 375th Anniversary. The Rt. Rev. Wayne Wright will be the celebrant and preacher at our Pentecost Sunday service on June 4, 2017. There will be a reception following the service.

Flowers – There is a new flower sign-up sheet for 2017 with instructions is posted in the Narthex. This covers the entire year. Please sign-up for your special two weeks. If you have more questions, please contact Lynn.

Church Quiz – Over the coming weeks we will have a “Church Quiz” as part of our announcements and e-News. All are invited to think about and answer the week’s question. Answers will be provided the following week.

Formation Classes – This week we will discuss our Old Testament reading, Ezekiel 37:1-14, “The Valley of Dry Bones.” Next week’s class will discuss our Old Testament reading Isaiah 50:4-9a, “The Servant’s Humiliation and Vindication.” All are invited to join the conversation in the Parish Hall from 9:15 to 10:15 am.

Sunday’s Psalm – This read the psalm during Lent.

Hospitality hour Sign-up – The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board; please sign-up for an upcoming Sunday. If you would like to help but cannot provide all the items for coffee hour/lemonade on the lawn any assistance, even a single item, will be graciously accepted.
