Future Visioning – Because Fr. Ferguson is departing effective November 6, all members of the Parish will be asked to assist in determining the future of St. John’s. Diocesan Tidings – Your Diocesan staff publishes a weekly newsletter, the Tidings, which lists the happenings in the Diocese and shares stories from around Southern Virginia. If you haven’t subscribed already, you can sign up for this informative newsletter at this link.

Thought for the weekVulnerability:  In the midst of pain, we develop isolating tendencies that may work in the short term but leave us lonely. Jesus shows us there is a way to heal not through isolation, but through vulnerability and intimacy with God. This way starts by us calling out to Christ, just like the ten sick men did in Luke’s Gospel: “Jesus, master, have mercy on us.” Try doing the same.
