“Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord…” Our Lenten journey draws to a close and April is just around the corner. But there’s still work to do between here and there. We give thanks for the preparations made for Palm Sunday and Easter and the cleaning of our yard in honor of the days ahead. May God’s grace lead you through the coming Holy Week and prepare you for the joyous Easter season.

It is difficult to say more or anything in a sermon that expands on the Passion Gospel and portrayal of Jesus’ last days on earth. Yet, as we sit in reflection and try to not be overwhelmed by the emotion and passion it is helpful to consider what Jesus might be doing in the midst of his Passion. Jesus is rightly called Rabbi – one who teaches. Jesus teaches us life lessons and provides courage for the journey to the cross and beyond. What can Jesus do to help you stay the course?

I invite your comments,
Les+
