Sunday Worship – We will be back in the sanctuary on Sunday! Please join us in worship in person. You will notice some changes, most notably the front door is still being repaired and audio/video equipment will be in place, but we will worship in-person in the sanctuary.

Parish House reshingling – The roofing company is scheduled to begin work the week of July 19th. Completion is based on weather conditions but should be less than 7 work days.
Meals on Wheels – Meals on Wheels Suffolk needs volunteers to deliver meals in Suffolk, Isle of Wight, and Smithfield. Deliveries are accomplished Monday – Friday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Sign up online at www.suffolkmealsonwheels.com. For more information contact 757-934-4911.
Sanctuary work – There was a detailed investigation of the Sanctuary by Atlas Master Company recently. There will be detailed recommendations identifying the maintenance needed to secure the building.
Questions to consider – (1) What gifts have we, as individuals or as a church, been given to share with our community? (2) Who do we have contact with that we can share our church with?
Soles-for-Souls – There is a collection box to help this worthy cause in the parish hall. Consider giving gently used or new shoes for those in need. For more information see their website: www.soles4souls.org.
Thought for the week – Acceptance: For Jesus, defeating your enemy had nothing to do with swords or armor. The only true way to defeat an enemy, even if the enemy is just an idea or a way of thinking, is to accept the enemy, in love and compassion, until we stop seeing an enemy at all.
