Rain Gutter Installation – We are scheduled to have gutters installed on the Sanctuary on Monday morning, November 1.

Vestry Meeting report – At the October 20 Vestry meeting, these topics were discussed. The status of the budget and finances; implementation of a graveyard maintenance and cleaning policy; changes to our events policy; recipients of our outreach funds; and the results of the Mutual Ministry Review. More information will be available once the minutes are completed and approved but if you have any questions, please contact a Vestry member or the Rector.

Parish Hall Hazards – Please be aware there are hazards on the east and north side of the Parish House. The ground has been disturbed and will be repaired after the roof is complete.
The chestnut trees have started to drop nuts. There may be trip hazards under and around the two trees for the coming weeks. Please be careful where you walk and park in front of the Parish House.

Salvation Army Christmas 2021 – The Salvation Army Suffolk will be holding their Christmas drives. More information is forthcoming.

Parish House reshingling – There has been a slight delay in completing the reshingling of the Parish House. The first estimate for completion is early- to mid-October.

Questions to consider – (1) What gifts have we, as individuals or as a church, been given to share with our community? (2) Who do we have contact with that we can share our church with?

Thought for the weekLove: Certainly, the evil we encounter in the world should scandalize us—but we, like the saints, should not be scandalized or ashamed by God’s love for that world. To the logic of the world, such love is foolishness, to be met with cynicism, loathing, and ridicule. Jesus has already told us this would be the case.
