Worship Service Video – A post-production video of worship will be on our YouTube channel on Sunday afternoon. A link to the video will be provided separately. Our channel URL is at this link.

Assisting Loaves & Fishes – This outreach ministry in Chuckatuck and Oakland is collecting items for their “Christmas in July” bag to be offered in July. They are asking churches to help by collecting, bleach, liquid or spray bathroom or kitchen cleanser, sponges, dish soap, laundry soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, plastic wrap, foil, baggies, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, etc. If you can help, speak with Marcella.

Vestry Meeting – The June Vestry meeting will be held June 22 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the Parlor.

Adopt a Chanco Staff – We have been invited, along with the remainder of our Diocese, to adopt a Chanco Staff person for the summer. The adoption is to be supportive and encouraging, including sending cards and greetings, and more importantly, we are invited to pray for them during the summer season. We will forward the name of our adoptee when available.

Ukrainian Relief – The Episcopal Relief and Development is gathering and sending relief assistance to the Ukraine. Donations to the Ukraine Crisis Response Fund will help the organization and its partners assist where needed.

Thought for the weekWord: In our modern culture, powerful language reaches farther faster. In as little as a tweet, words can be used to create either thoughtful uplifting speech, or to attack and denigrate those who would think differently than ourselves. How can we reclaim the holiness of words to emulate God our creator?
