Assisting Loaves & Fishes – This outreach ministry in Chuckatuck and Oakland is collecting items for their “Christmas in July” bag to be offered in July. This Sunday, July 16, is the final day for collecting supplies. If you can help, speak with Marcella.

Our Chanco Staff member – We have been blessed to offer prayers and, if we feel moved, to send cards and care packages to Summer Staff member, Krystal Barnes. The biggest gift we can offer is our prayers during the camping season. If you would like to send her a note, send it c/o Chanco on the James, 394 Floods Dr., Spring Grove VA 23881-7927.

Worship Service Video – A post-production video of worship will be on our YouTube channel on Sunday afternoon. A link to the video will be provided separately. Our channel URL is at this link.

Thought for the weekMercy: There are no boundaries within God’s mercy. There is no one outside God’s mercy, compassion, and loving kindness. This truth has the power to convert us, to change our lives. To be a neighbor is to show mercy to those in need, regardless of their race, religion, or country of origin.
