Sunday Worship – We will conduct a remote worship as part of our COVID response and to provide safe worship. For those desiring, please contact the Rector to pick up pre-consecrate elements for at-home Communion. We have also set up to live-stream worship on our YouTube channel at: https://youtu.be/25OzuijJJX0.

If you would like ashes and elements delivered, please contact the Rector.

Lenten Study – We will have a Lenten Study on Wednesday midday during Lent. We will use Zoom to hold the class and joining details and course information will be provided separately.

Lenten Devotions – These are available from the Episcopal Relief and Development online at http://www.episcopalrelief.org/lent. If you need assistance downloading or getting a copy, please contact the office.

Flowers on the Altar – While we may not be worshipping in person, there are flowers on the altar during the worship service.  Please volunteer to sponsor flowers by contacting the office.

St. John’s YouTube Channel – As part of our practice during the COVID-19 Social Distancing time we created a YouTube Channel. For the moment, we share worship videos (both live stream and pre-recorded), but in the future we will connect classes and other offerings on the Channel. Our channel URL is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2QWNHHKVPYpp8mKcveYd5A

Soles-for-Souls – There is a collection box to help this worthy cause in the parish hall. Consider giving gently used or new shoes for those in need. For more information see their website: www.soles4souls.org.

Thought for the weekOpen: When we open our hearts enough to truly love, our enemies can open up the possibility for our healing. It’s not just about treating our enemies a certain way; it’s about the fruits of relating to each other, to everyone, in the fullness of Christ’s love. When we practice loving fully, our great reward is being free from holding onto feelings like anger and hatred.
