Sunday Worship – We will be back in the sanctuary on Sunday! Please join us in worship in person. There will be refreshments on Sunday (including watermelon). You will notice some changes, most notably the front door is still being repaired and audio/video equipment will be in place, but we will worship in-person in the sanctuary.

Meals on Wheels – Meals on Wheels Suffolk needs volunteers to deliver meals in Suffolk, Isle of Wight, and Smithfield. Deliveries are accomplished Monday – Friday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Sign up online at www.suffolkmealsonwheels.com. For more information contact 757-934-4911.

Zoom Coffee Hour – We will have a Zoom Coffee hour Sunday, July 18. Joining instructions will be forwarded separately.

Sanctuary work – There was a detailed investigation of the Sanctuary by Atlas Master Company recently. There will be detailed recommendations identifying the maintenance needed to secure the building.

Questions to consider – (1) What gifts have we, as individuals or as a church, been given to share with our community? (2) Who do we have contact with that we can share our church with?

Soles-for-Souls – There is a collection box to help this worthy cause in the parish hall. Consider giving gently used or new shoes for those in need. For more information see their website: www.soles4souls.org.

Thought for the week – Equality: Jesus speaks to us, not as a people, a nation, a church, or as an internationally defined global community. Rather, He speaks to us as He always has: as creatures of His hand and people of His pasture. No one person and no one group are the center of the universe Jesus reveals to us. We are each and all the center of the Divine attention, an attention that knows, searches, and sees all.
