St. Luke’s Music Program – Smithfield High School’s Select Choraliers Ensemble will present a cappella carols for the Christmas Season at St. Luke’s December 2 and 3. More details are available on the flyer in the narthex.

Advent soup lunch and Study – We will continue our Advent soup lunch and study December 7. The sessions will run from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. More information is forthcoming.

Christmas Caroling – Lake Prince Woods is hosting A Night of Christmas Caroling Dec. 8 beginning at 6:30 pm in the Portsmouth Center. There will be hot cocoa and cookies after the caroling. RSVP to Resident Services Department at 757-923-5514/5514 by Dec. 2.

Pledge Cards – Pledge Card ingathering is scheduled for the First Sunday of Advent, November 30. Please turn your cards in on or before the 30th so they can be offered during our Advent celebration.

Vestry Member – Marcella will rotate off the Vestry at the end of December. We need a volunteer to serve as her successor.

Formation opportunity – The Rector is forming a group to go through the Sacred Ground curriculum from the Episcopal Church. The class is an 11-session conversation about Race and Faith. More information can be found at this link.

Ukrainian Relief – The Episcopal Relief and Development is gathering and sending relief assistance to the Ukraine. Donations to the Ukraine Crisis Response Fund will help the organization and its partners assist where needed.
