Spring Workday – We will hold our spring workday to clean the church yard beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 1. Please come help make the yard beautiful for Easter Sunrise Service.

Community Holy Week Services – Oakland Christian UCC, Wesley Chapel UMC, and St. John’s will host community-wide Holy Week Service. The schedule for services is: Maundy Thursday service at Oakland Christian UCC beginning at 6:00 pm. Good Friday service at Wesley Chapel UMC beginning at 6:00 pm. Easter Sunrise service will be at the pond altar beginning at 6:45 am. We will have our regularly scheduled service at 10:30 am.
Easter Lilies – If you would like to sponsor an Easter lily this year, they will be $15 per lily. Please contact the church office if you have questions or would like to sponsor a lily.

Revival in the Diocese – There is a Diocese-wide Revival scheduled for Apr. 22 at 2:30 pm at Hampton University. The Presiding Bishop will lead the Revival and all are invited to join others from around the Diocese in Revival. There are events and activities both before and after the Revival. Ladies Luncheon Outing – The ladies of the Parish luncheons will be on the 2nd Thursday of the month. We will try different restaurants. Please watch for announcements.
Reflection questions – We invite you to reflect on these questions as part of your Lenten journey. What do you love? What have you lost? Where does it hurt? In what do you find hope?
Sponsoring Altar Flowers – There is a signup sheet to sponsor flowers during 2023 in the Sanctuary. Please signup to help enhance the appearance of the Sanctuary during worship. Contact Lynn if you have any questions.
Ukrainian Relief – The Episcopal Relief and Development is gathering and sending relief assistance to the Ukraine. Donations to the Ukraine Crisis Response Fund will help the organization and its partners assist where needed.
Thought for the week – Stay: We are prone to leave, but there is a hunger for and wisdom in stability: remain, stick it out, and keep finding God here. There’s a gutsy quality to abiding, trusting God to be here. Jesus says the Father stuck with me. I’ll stick with you no matter what.
