Worship Service Video – There will be no video of worship on Sunday. Fr. Les will be away and we will celebrate Morning Prayer in his absence.

Pastor Installation at Oakland Christian UCC – Pastor Jason Stump will be installed as Pastor of Oakland Christian UCC on Sunday, April 30, at 4:00 pm. A reception will follow and an RSVP is appreciated at 757-255-4353.

Hope for Suffolk CSA – There are half- and full-shares in the Hope for Suffolk CSA available for purchase. The CSA shares are available May – Sept. and more information can be found on their website.

Rector Absence – The Rector will be away April 30 and May 7. In his absence we will celebrate Morning Prayer during Sunday worship.

Delegate and Alternate – We need to elect a Delegate and Alternate for Diocesan events in the coming fiscal year. If you are willing to serve, please contact the Rector.

Ladies Luncheon Outing – The ladies of the Parish luncheons will be on the 2nd Thursday of the month. We will try different restaurants. Please watch for announcements.

Sponsoring Altar Flowers – There is a signup sheet to sponsor flowers during 2023 in the Sanctuary. Please signup to help enhance the appearance of the Sanctuary during worship. Contact Lynn if you have any questions.

Ukrainian Relief – The Episcopal Relief and Development is gathering and sending relief assistance to the Ukraine. Donations to the Ukraine Crisis Response Fund will help the organization and its partners assist where needed.

Thought for the week – Mystery: Jesus’ path shows us that death leads to life, and sacrifice leads to freedom, and that in the end, love always triumphs. Our hope is in the God who overcame death and the grave. This mystery lies at the heart of what we believe.
